Why We Need Your Support

Family donations, employer matching, fundraising events, and volunteer time make the work of SES PTA possible.

Each year, PTA invests more than $125,000 in programs and experiences that enrich school life. Our focus is on supporting classrooms and teachers, expanding learning opportunities beyond the curriculum, and bringing our school community together.

From educational assemblies and hands-on experiences to classroom resources and family traditions, PTA helps create opportunities that benefit every SES student.

Our Fundraising Approach

At SES, our goal is to rely less on frequent fundraising asks and focus our efforts on a few larger campaigns.

For 2026–27, we are taking another step in that direction by combining our traditional Better Together giving ask and fall Booster fundraiser into one Annual Giving Campaign. Our Spring Gala remains our major spring fundraiser.

Not every PTA activity that collects money is a fundraiser. Some programs and events collect revenue to help offset the cost of providing that activity. PTA may still invest more in the program than it receives because its primary purpose is to provide an experience or service to students and families.

Fewer fundraising asks. More time and resources focused on students, teachers, and community.

Annual Giving Campaign

Fall / Winter

Our Annual Giving Campaign is our primary fall/winter fundraising effort, bringing together our traditional Better Together donation ask and fall Booster fundraiser into one campaign.

Families and community members can make a direct contribution to support PTA programs and experiences, and many employers will match those donations. The suggested contribution is $250 per student, but every contribution matters.

Gala

Spring

Our Spring Gala is our major spring fundraising event and a chance for the SES community to come together while supporting our school.

Through auctions, raffles, sponsorships, and donations, the Gala helps fund the programs and experiences PTA provides throughout the year.
